Catholicism: The Pivotal Players Part II

St. Benedict

St. Monica's Parish Hall - 6405 Terrebonne, Montreal, Qc.

Bishop Robert Barron’s Catholicism: The Pivotal Players is a film series that illuminates great people who not only shaped the life of the Church but changed the course of western civilization. Join our guest presenters as they help us to unlock the truth behind two of the Catholic Church’s most influential people from the fourth and fifth centuries: St. Augustine and St. Benedict, the Monk.

This installment focuses on St. Benedict, the Monk, who, many would argue, contributed more to saving western Christian culture than anyone else. Born just after Rome fell, Benedict founded the religious community that would, in time, preserve the best of the old and allow for the emergence of an authentic, Christian way of life.

Presented by Fr. Paul Geraghty on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.
