Weekly Collection

The Collection Report For April 10-11 Will Appear Next Weekend With  That Of April 17-18 As Well.

 

 Faith First And Preparation For 1st Communion And Confirmation

Because Of Recent Changes In The Schools Of Quebec, It Is Now More And More Up To Families And Parishes To Provide Faith Education For Our Young People.  Boys And Girls Of Grades 1 Through 6 Now Follow The Faith First Program To Prepare Them For Their Catholic Christian Living As Well As For The Celebration Of The Sacraments Of Reconciliation, Communion, And Confirmation.

The Program Is A Comprehensive Program And Students Attend For All Six Years, Not Just The Years Of Special Sacramental Celebrations.  Yearly Registration Is Required.

Registration For The Year 2010-2011 Will Take Place In The Church Hall After The 4 P.M. Mass On Saturday, April 24th And After The 11 A.M. Mass On April 25th.

Choice Of The Time For The Sessions And Mass (Saturday From 3-5 P.M. Or Sunday From 10-Noon) Will Be Granted As Long As Space Is Available.

 

Faith First Helpers

In Order To Successfully Run The Faith First Program Many Volunteers Are Needed As Catechists Or Catechist Helpers.  Training Is Provided, Especially For The Catechists Who Present The Lessons To Groups Of About Ten Students Each Week.  If You Are Interested In Serving This Way, Please See Jennie Parsons-Armstrong At The Registration Next Weekend Or Contact Her At 514-481-0267 Ext. 22 Or Jennie.Armstrong@Bell.Net.

Are We Cultivating A Culture Of Disrespect?  That's The Topic For A Presentation By Deacon Gerry Turpin, A Co-Founder Of  Parentaide Plus. Everyone Is Welcome, At No Fee, To This Promising Evening On Thursday, April 29th, At 7:30 P.M. In St. Monica's Church Hall.

Annual Archdiocesan Collection

The Annual Archdiocesan Campaign Begins This Weekend.  If You Do Not Use The Church Envelope System, Donation Envelopes Are At The Exits To The Church.  For Those Who Weren't Able To Donate This Weekend, Your Donations Can Be Placed In With Regular Collection At Any Time.

 

Operation Renewal Follow-Up
